The Royal Glen Hotel's proximity to both the beach (200m) and Sidmouth town centre (300m) is a highlight for many, alongside its distinctive, quirky architecture and Victorian connections. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms; for example, the Edinburgh suite features a kitchenette, comfortable twin beds, and a shower room. The swimming pool and modern gym are also popular amenities; however, some guests have noted that the pool water could be warmer. In addition, there is a separate bar for relaxing, and the breakfast choices receive positive feedback.

Acceptable Stay with Issues

small room flat pillows
The location proved satisfactory, close to amenities.
The room size was smaller than I expect. I experienced banging on my door during a shower due to a leak to the room below, sealant around the cubicle was not properly applied. I also found the pillows to be flat.
